Adam X Atelier Unveils “Carnation, Lily, Lily, Rose” at Couture for a Cause 2025

This August, the luxury fashion world gathered once again in Yorkville for Couture for a Cause 2025, a philanthropic fashion gala in support of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). Among the most anticipated moments of the evening was the unveiling of Adam X Atelier’s new couture collection:

Carnation, Lily, Lily, Rose.

Inspired by John Singer Sargent’s triad of feminine archetypes — the bold and statuesque, the innocent and illuminated, the veiled and mysterious — and infused with the pastoral lyricism of Joseph Mazzinghi’s floral refrain, this season becomes a meditation on femininity in contradiction: poised yet vanishing, sensual yet restrained.

Known for his East-meets-West design language, Adam X combines precise tailoring with ethereal draping in a dialogue between control and surrender—mirroring the often unspoken journey of those navigating mental health. From petal-layered silks to structured corsetry softened by fluid chiffon, each look in the collection tells a story of resilience blooming through adversity.

Carnation, Lily, Lily, Rose is a love letter to light—especially the kind we fight to find within ourselves,” says the designer.

As part of Couture for a Cause, the show helps raise an ambitious $100,000 goal for CAMH, supporting mental health initiatives across Canada. Hosted at Yorkville Village and presented by Rogers, the event brought together leading designers, philanthropists, and fashion insiders united by a shared cause: promoting visibility and resources for mental health through the universal language of art and design.

Adam X Atelier’s participation underscores its commitment to purpose-driven fashion—where couture is more than spectacle; it’s a medium for reflection, connection, and change.

With past collections exhibited at the Kiscelli Museum and shown in fashion capitals such as Paris and London, this latest debut is a reminder of the brand’s evolving creative depth. As the lights dimmed and the final look took its walk, one thing was clear:

Adam X doesn’t just design garments—he designs emotion.
